Activity number sequences

Hello All,

We have recently upgraded to AX 2012 R2 (from AX 2012) and are now undergoing testing.

There is an issue that we are facing about Activity number under WBS of a Project.

When creating a new activity, it keeps using the same number 000000. 

The Sequence number setup under OA, has the next number starting at 007849.

Any ideas as to why it keeps trying to use 000000?

    Possibly the number sequence has become "Manual" ?

    Thanks Daxer,

    Both the "Manual" and "Continuous" checkboxes are ON. It was the same setup in R1.

    I will try unchecking the Manual to see.

    Hi Boubacar,

    Enabling both manual and continuous is not a common setup. If the number remains zero and you have a continuous number sequence the problem might be related to missing permissions on a SQL stored procedure or maybe this stored procedure is missing for some reason.     Hi André, as it appears both manual and continuous were not enabled simultaneously. it wasn't accurate. However, what was accurate is your suggestion. it helped us get pass the hurdle.
