We are going to start with the IP warm up period, and my question is whether transactional email will also be included in the IP warm up period.
Or does this only apply to the commercial emails?

Microsoft's official documentation does not mention that IP warm upt has requirements for the type of email:

Thanks for your response. That's just why I am asking this question. So Microsoft does not distinguish between commercial and transactional e-mails?
In outbound marketing email, we can select commercial or transactional type:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/email-properties#set-the-legal-designation-to-identify-each-message-as-either-commercial-or-transactional
For IP warm up, if a distinction needs to be made, Microsoft should clearly state it in the documentation.
