Management Reporter not Updating. Process seems Stuck on "processing"

Hi Brains Trust,

My management reporter data is not updating even though the MR Console logs say there are integrations happening. A script confirmed that one of the processes seems to be stuck on Processing and I do not know how to stop it, cancel it or trigger it to restart. I'm sure this one is the issue.

Any scripts or help would be appreciated to do this.

Also, will it help if I just Disable Integration on the console and Enable it again? If all else fails, I'm doomed to do a full datamart rebuild in 3 hrs which I would like to avoid as previous experience has shown the rebuild takes a good 5-6 hrs for my company.

    Hi Shristi MP,

    Please check this site, which lists the MR versions

    docs.microsoft.com/.../management-reporter-feature-and-version-number-summary

    If you are on an older one, an upgrade to the latest MR version might help.

    It used to be a major pain point. There was a time I was doing the rebuild twice a month. Then our support partners performed some updates and reindexing work which improved performance. The last rebuild was this time last year. 17/11 to be exact. So this one lasted almost a year!

    Hi Shristi,

    Yeah, looks like the DM reset is the only option based on what you described.

    Do you regularly see this?

    If so, maybe try to move to a more recent MR version.

    Yes, I have restarted the services twice. I have also gone through and rebuilt balances in AX and restarted services again in the hopes that it would trigger the update again but no such luck.

    I was hoping to avoid the DM rebuild but it does look like it is the only option now.

    Hi Shristi,

    Have you already tried stopping and restarting the MR services?

    If this does not help / fix the issue then try a datamart refresh. Even though it takes a couple of hours it is better taking this time rather than being not able to rely on the MR data.
