Transfer Order - Partial Shipment and Received - how to cancel the balance or closed the Transfer Order

We got a Tranfer Order that we only shipped out partially and it was received. We are not going to be shipping out the balance - how do we closed out the transfer order.

Example: Transfer Order Qty is 100 pcs - shipped out 51 pcs and received 51 pcs - the balance of 49 pcs - will not be ship out.

In the item card - we are showing that we still have 49 pcs Qty in Transit for this item.

WIll this have an impact when we are doing our physical inventory ?

    If I understand, you still have 49 pcs on transit location. If I'm right, you only can to receive this quantity on target location and after that you can transfer from target to source location with new Transfer Order.

    Eventually, you can make some customization that you can change target location; I used the same customization.

    You should always create a balans in your transfer order. So everything you post as send, you should also receive.

    In your case, you didn't sent all of it, and you can remove the transfer order. Be aware that if you don't remove the order, item availability calculation (e.g. in a sales order) will rely on that transfer order coming in eventually.
