Audit Summary Data export to excel

It is just amazing that it's been almost 5 years, a couple upgrades, and a pending interface change, and a simple business requirement like this one still goes unanswered.

I need to export an activity log of user logins.  This is a simple employee performance issue in a business.

I realize the big fear in Microsoft is that letting companies know when users are not using a system may mean more active management of accounts and decreased subscriptions, but try and look at it from a customer's point of view.  If I have sales managers that can't be bothered to regularly log into CRM, this is something i need to alert company ownership about.  I need numbers to show them that are not a screen shot.

Not fixing this is just a blatant predatory business decision.  Kind of reminds me of the stories about fur traders on the american frontier in the early 1700's i learned about in grade school.  They used to trade a musket for a stack of beaver pelts as high as the musket.  Pretty soon muskets for trade got to be 10' long and useless.  Would you be proud to tell your kids you are the inheritors and propagators of this type of exploitative business practice?

So how about a fix here guys.  This doesn't look to be that hard to do.

I have the same question (0)

    Hey,

    If you are using on-premises, you can create a query on AuditBase table and export the query result into excel.

    Hi,

    For online instance, you should be able to get the analytic report in new Power Platform Admin Center: https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/. Once you logged in as admin user, you should be able to access Capacity report like this. The screenshot is taken from my test org. It’s just an example for your reference.

    Hi,

    We had the same issue when our customers are asking for the usage report. The solution was to create an SSRS report to get the User login count. Below is the sample fetch used for getting the count.

    <fetch distinct="false" no-lock="false" mapping="logical">

    <entity name="audit" enableprefiltering="1">

    <attribute name="createdon" />

    <attribute name="action" />

    <order attribute="createdon" descending="true" />

    <filter type='and'>

    <condition attribute='action' operator='eq' value='64'/>

    </filter>

    <link-entity name='systemuser' from='systemuserid' to='objectid' link-type='outer' alias='SystemUser'><attribute name="fullname" /><attribute name="windowsliveid" /></link-entity></entity>

    </fetch>

    Also to get the count use Count(createdon).

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Shaheen
