implementation of a channel model in sales

Hi,

i am looking for best practices to implement a sales model that supports both direct and indirect sales (Sell to, sell with, sell tru).

Anyone that can provide me with a how-to document?

    Hi,

    it depends on what kind of information you want to achieve from this model. Your customer will always be the one you sell-to, but you can set up different bill-to customer, or ship-to addresses.

    Or use Dimensions, if it's only financial split that you're seeking for.

    In our idea the quotation is generated for a specific customer ( i.e. special bid for a special customer)

    the quote is issued to the channel partner including his margin or kickback

    I'll check if the set up you propose works
