Hello everyone,

I have a problem with recurring appointments; it seems that the box for attachments is not available.. do you know if it is possibile to fix this?
We need to store a document and I can't find any other solution.

Thanks!
Luca

    Hi Luca,

Unfortunately, the Attachments box is not available on the recurring appointment form, which is by design.

So if you would store a document in the recurring appointments, there are two solutions.

Solution 1. Insert the timeline on the recurring appointment form.

Edit the recurring appointment form, and insert the timeline.

On the recurring appointment form, we can add a note in the timeline, and upload the document.

Solution 2. Enable Sharepoint document for recurring appointment.

After integrating Sharepoint and D365, go to Advanced Settings > Document Management > Document Management Settings, select recurring appointment.

On the recurring appointment form, we can upload the document in the Related > Document tab.

    Hi,

You can add Timeline to the Recurring Attachments form.

    Here are the steps:

    • Go to Advanced Settings -> Customization -> Customize the System.
    • Expand Entities -> Recurring Appointment -> Forms.
    • Open the Recurring Appointment Form.

    • Click on the Section where you want add Timeline control (or create a new section as per your need).
    • Then click on Insert tab and click on Timeline option:

    • Save the form and Publish.

Now you can add Attachments to the Notes on the Recurring Appointment form.

    Best,

    Wahaj

Any idea on how to link the attachment from the series to the singular appointment form?

    Hi

    what do you mean?

If you mean, inserting attachments into the appointment form (I mean, into the table), I do not think it will be possibile.

In the non-recurring appointment, you can add a sub-form, "attachments", to help you navigating your documents.
