Unexpected Error in LCS Upload to Shared Asset library

Hi,

I have a package that I want to upload to my shared asset library..when I do so I get: "An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later. If the problem persists contact support for further assistance."

This happens also with packages that I know for sure work (because I've uploaded before)

If I do it from the project asset library however it works.

Any help?

    Hi Norbert,

You can log an incident for Microsoft Support. They are able to see what goes wrong on LCS. Until now I haven't seen issues on the shared asset library.

Yes I did that already.  I'm waiting for their response but I thought maybe I can get a response faster on the forum.

It's confirmed an issue from Microsoft.  They fixed it but it's not in production yet.

It impacts all users for all items on the shared asset library..so be aware if you are uploading some thing.

I will advise later when it's fixed.

for now if you want to upload an asset, use the project asset library.  I don't have news yet whether its fixed.

I can confirm that it is now working for me using Shared Asset Library

    Hi,

I can notify now that the issue from Microsoft is fixed.  I managed to upload a file to the Shared Asset Library and, after I contacted Microsoft myself, they told me they have fixed it.

One issue remains which I am trying to resolve with them at the moment.  Due to this discrepancy and my urgent requirement, I temporarily uploaded my code to a project asset library and deployed it to my test environment.  As it is deployed to the test environment, I cannot remove my temporary asset until I remove my test environment.  I am working with them to see if a solution is possible.  I

'll update this if I find a solution, if I don't, assume that the only way to fix this would be to delete the environment hosting the temporary upload.
