Like mentioned, today it is not possible to get it on the ESS workspace.
As workaround for now, you can create a canvas PowerApp with the information and add it to the form where an employee can edit personal details.

Currently, It is not possible to view employees manager in ESS however there is an idea in the Microsoft idea portal. Please check the below link and vote for an idea.
