Number sequence for journal is not coming on its exact number

Hi Experts,

I have by mistake one journal number sequence from 741 to 01 so that journal started number sequence from 01 i need to bring it again 741 but no result i changed it from organization administration module number sequence. please check the above images.

If number sequence is Continuous, then it will give you unused values from Status list before taking the Next number.

Uncheck the Continuous flag because most likely you don't have a legal requirement to have continuous numbers on the journal numbers.

This will solve your problem immediately, and is anyway recommended by Microsoft.
