creating a customized system view for opportunity entity

Hi everyone,

I am fresher and just started learning dynamics 365 CRM and business central.

I got a task to create a system view in dynamics CRM for opportunity entity. The task is to display the fields within the opportunity record.

Sales team ( Just one role from sales team for example Sales professional )
Extended Amount ( This field is in product line items)
Est. Delivery Date ( This field is in product line items)

I am not sure how can I extract and display the particular field in view, I can't find any relationship in Add columns. I appreciate for any kind of help.

Hi Garry,

Opportunity Product is child entity and we can't show child entity fields in parent entity (i.e. Opportunity entity) view. If you want to show Opportunity entity fields on opportunity product view then you can show it. This is OOB functionality.

The workaround solution is, you can add Opportunity product sub grid on opportunity record and view all related opportunity products.
