Disable a Button + event-response

Good morning ,  I wish to disable a button on  GUI and also set a condition  for a response.

I believe I have to go to Page  object then disable the button .

I wonder if Is there  a disable  option    like in java  for a button?

I also wonder  should  I put a condition on the page object  or code unit  to wait  the reception  of document   or  event-response   relationship ?
