Team Member Access

Posted on by 12
Hi,

I would like to work with some users on team member access.
On the trial run I noticed that these members had access to the sales professional interface, however we are working with a copy of the app to allow customization.
Is it possible to change the team member access to this one? Or is it possible to merge my entire interface from sales hub to sales professional?

Thanks!

    Thank you Luis.

I bought the Power Apps per-user license on top to try.
I can still only see Sales professional as the only app accessible. Do I need to manually assign the custom app somewhere?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Team members do not have access to custom apps.

The Dynamics 365 Team Members subscription doesn't provide access to custom applications and isn't intended for scenarios beyond those listed in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide.
If you want them to be able to assign custom apps
For accessing custom apps, users need to be assigned a Power Apps per-app license or per-user license, as appropriate. If the user needs access to one or two apps, consider the per-app license as an option; otherwise, the user will need the per-user option, which allows access to unlimited custom apps on the platform. For more information, see the Power Apps home page, and Dynamics 365 Pricing.
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/get-started/team-members-license#i-need-my-users-to-access-a-custom-app-whats-the-best-license-to-assign-for-these-users

Also remember that there is a limit on tables you add add to your team member apps, you can find this in Appendix D of the licensing guide ( you can find it in the previous links or  https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=866544&clcid=0x409

You can add up to 15 tables (standard and/or custom) per Team Members application module. If you want to view (read only) more than
15 tables, you can do so by creating dashboards and sub-grids.
