Environment URL: "An error has occurred."

After entering the Environment URL for our Dynamics 365, this error appears. The last thing I changed was adding the German language pack for the interface in addition to the English one. I never saw the process finish, instead, the next morning, this error appeared.

I got this solved by the support team, they told me it was an "odd and very uncommon" problem and they could not provide me with tools or documentation to solve this on my own.
