Verify SQL Server

Hi everybody:

I'm installing Dynamics GP 2018 R2, on SQL Server 2019. This server is installed on a machine running Microsoft Server 2016 Standard edition.

After install Dynamics GP, I run GP Utilities, but after "Welcome To Microsoft Dynamics GP Utilities" window, the next error:

"You current SQL Server is not a supported version.

Req: Microsoft SQL Server 11.0

Act: Microsoft SQL Server 2019 [RTM-GDR][KB4517790] -

You need to upgrade to SQL Server 11.0 before continuing"

Please, help me, any advise?

You can log into CustomerSource yourself and download GP 18.2.1036. If you do not know your credentials contact Sales Operations at 1-800-456-0025.

GP 2018 R2 will work with SQL 2014, 2016 and 2017.

RE: Verify SQL Server

You need to upgrade to GP 18.2 .1013 or higher to use SQL 2019. To use GP 2018 R2 you must go no higher than SQL 2017. Just download GP 18.2 and install on top of your GP 2018 installation.
