Hi All

I have Dynamics installed on my dev environment and had the enterprise portal up and running and was able to see the different tabs - (compliance, employee services, Finance etc).. But now I dont see any of those tabs on the portal and when i go to sites and workspaces I see those tabs (Finance etc) but it gives me an error when i click on it. 'Unable to render content due to an error. Please contact your system administrator. '

In the .net business connector acccount I had used an account which had an expiring password which I changed today. Can  anyone please tell me the issue that I have is because of that and if so is there a way I can either change the password or change to a different account... Actually I changed it to an account which had a non expiring password in ( administration-setup-> system service accounts in AOS) but that did not help..

I'm new to Dynamics Ax.. So please any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

 Ambika

    The error  'Unable to render content due to an error. Please contact your system administrator. ' is a global error ment for end users. As a developer or system administrator you can see more detailled errors that will tell you more what went wrong.

    To do that navigate to your web.config of the EP site e.g C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\port number and set the debug property to true.
    <compilation batch="false" debug="true">

    This wont solve your error but atleast give you more detail of what the error is.

    When changing the BC account, you will need to do more then change it in Ax.
    Your Application pool will also run under the credentials off you BC.

    My advice would be to reinstall the portal with the new BC account.
    This will be the quickest and most safe way to make sure your new account is used everywhere correctly.
