DLL Register in NAVISION 2009 r2

Hi,

What is the procedure to register a DLL in navision for the purpose to run an .net application from nav.

    just copy the .net assembly to folder ..\RTC\Add-ins, if only used local on windows client. if it is used on server side copy it to ...\Service\Add-ins.

    if it is a (visual) control add-in you need to create a record in table control add-in.

    to use a control add-in add a field in a page and set the property control-addin with your assembly.

    Hi,

    Folder ..\RTC\Add-ins or ...\Service\Add-ins. refers to the location under which the Dynamics Nav is installed.

    Should i use a automation varible in order to run this dll file?? Just copying the .net assembly will be fine to get the dll register in automation server??

    only copy the .net dll into the add-ins folders.

    the restart the nav service and the windows client.
