it can not change the customer when your quotation was posted.. you just create a new quotation order

    Hi  emmaprior,

Once you post a sales quotation, you can only change the quotation line or delivery address information, but not including the customer account. The only way you want to change is to cancel it and recreate a new one.

    Hello emma,

What do you mean by saying that the customer account is greyed out?

What do you want to achieve here exactly?

Would be great if you could elaborate.

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hello Emma,

Two options here depending on your situation.

    1. you can open up the customer to you have sent the quote to via /Sales and marketing/Common/Customers/All customers, under the "sell" tab, use "New/Sales quotation". Then you can use the "copy/Form all" button to then copy your previous quote onto the correct customer and send it from there. Update you old quote to "cancelled" or "lost". This would be the best safest way.

    2. You can open up the tables SalesQuotationLine and SalesQuotationTable and the customer account field will be open to amend. NB Pls be aware that this is a risky strategy and should be thoroughly tested first as table data changes are not a safe way to achieve what you are after. There may be other details you would need to change/update.
