Send email to external email address

We have a requirement that whenever user selects any email template in case form (Usually customer email comes in "To" field), they can write any email address(Not belonging to CRM) in "CC" field. Normally the email only goes to customer. How can we send email to external users mentioned in "CC" field?

    Hi..

    You need to set allow messages with unresolved email recipients to be sent  to Yes, from system settings.

    Thank you Mahadeo for your quick reply. There is also few workflows configured which sends email for case status and other activities details to customer. Do we need to make changes in workflows to send email to mentioned email address in "CC" field?

    Yes.. this setting is only for alowing to use email address directly in emails from CRM. You have to change workflows.
