Any chance to use images in survey emails without breaking the layout?

Hi,

I'm trying for days now to get a custom mail template to work which has one big and three smaller images (e.g. logo). I want to get it displayed correctly in Outlook which is a quest of it's own but I'm pretty sure I found some good ways to get it to work. I even manged to find ways to get this to work without css (well, inlining evrything) but now I noticed the editor even cuts some basic tags (e.g. width in the img tag). This happens by the way as well while using the img insert option of the editor.

I'm at a point where I'm out of ideas how to fix this. Is the editor really that broken or is there any other explanation for this strange behaviour?

    Hi DVO,

I see, would it be possible to share the survey id to customervoice@microsoft.com by email, so that we can have the team look into it?

    Hi Usha,

thanks for the effort but I'm aware of this button. The editor is not saving some bits of code (see e.g. in the first post) which is making it extra hard (or even impossible) to get an email with images bigger than the width of the corresponding table (for retina displays) to work.

    Hi DVO,

Thanks for reaching out. You can try accessing the html for the template from the "Source" option. You can find this near the template footer.

    Hope this helps!
