"Date sent" field in email activity is not setting

I have problem with this "Date sent" field on Email activity form. Maybe I don't understand something, but when I create and send email from CRM this date is set correctly. But when I'm using "Dynamics 365 App for Outlook", and set "Tracking" on any email, this date is never set on CRM side.

    Hi,

    Actually when you send email from CRM Date sent will be set and when it is tracked from outlook "Actual End" will be Set.Pls check it.

    Thank You for the explanation. I have another question. Is there relatively easy way to change that email send date will be put in the "Date sent" field instead of "Actual End" ?

    Hi,

     No you cannot set it like that and these 2 fields are OOB fields and it cannot be changed.Pls have a look at this article.
