Ability to export and compare different Dynamics solutions across different customers to improve customer service, e.g. Wave Release Management

I'm looking to see if there is a tool/product or even a different way of working for similar users in the Customer Service/Support world.

I work for an MS Gold Partner and look after 35+ customers each having different Dynamics 365 (and older!) solutions, for differing needs and business requirements, but when issues arise outside of our control; MS Wave Releases, 3rd party plugin issues, or Geolocation related issues, it would be great to have a 'CMDB' of sorts that can quickly establish which customer is affected so we can notify them.

To date we've been using a good old fashioned Excel spreadsheet to detail all of the components that make up the solutions, whether they use JS, any integrations and using what tool (Kingsway), any 3rd party plugins (ClickD, MSCRMAddOns etc),even which geolocated Dynamics instance they are on, and for the Wave Releases we've been extending it to include any Power Platform specific elements or just which modules/entities are in use (Customer Service/Sales etc). 

Whilst this does work, I was wondering if those in the wider communities use a specific tool to capture/use this information, or if there was a way to export a customers' solution and import it into such a tool to remove any human error?

so... surely we're not the first to be doing such a thing so please let me know what you guys use.
