when trying to install bids extention setup i am facing the error to install sql data tools even though they are already successfully installed.
can someone please help me with this.

I am following the same process but ending up with sql data tools not installed error even they are installed while installing setup.

Maybe a version issue or you probably need to install the SSDT separately. Here are few links for your reference.
