How to Link Posted Purchase Invoice Lines with General Ledger Entries

Hi everyone, I am trying to merge the posted purchase invoice lines with general ledger entries, but I could not find a key to merge. I know that there are line no in the posted purchase invoice lines, and I can find ledger entry no in the g/l entries. Unfortunately, the order of line no does not match the order of ledger entry no.

I know they have the same document no, but I need to combine these two tables in the lines level. If I only use the document no as the key, then I cannot make sure each line is combined correctly.

Under this situation, how should I merge these two tables in Power BI? Please note that I want to combine posted purchase invoice LINES instead of posted purchase invoices.

Thanks!

They will both have the same document no.

The standard associates them through Document No. and Posting Date.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

    Hi,

If you have some posted purchase lines just navigate to the Value entries from value entries we have action called View G/L entries.

Table in the back end is G/L - Item Ledger Relation
With help of this table we can map the relationships.

    Thanks

Unique combination of Document No., Posting Date you could use these fields to align lines between the two tables.
