Marketing emails do not save personalizations

I have experienced following issue:

Newly created marketing emails do not save personalizations.

Steps to repro:

  1. create a new mrkt email from the Mrkt App
  2. add a personalization (e.g. Contact Fullname)
  3. enter subject and save the email
  4. close the form and open the newly created email (or reload the form)
  5. -> personalization is not saved

Any idea why?

    Hi Mark,

    This may be design flaw.

    You can compare the following two images, the first is formatted incorrectly and will not be saved.

    This is the correct format.

    Thanks a lot for yr reply.

    I see only only one difference between the wrong and the correct format:

    - the wrong one has text "Please input your text here ..." -> is this the problem or something else?

    Yes, this is the difference.

    Paste the text like the second image shown.

    Thanks a lot for the explanations. It looks like a bug in Dynamics. The provided workaround by you works fine:

    1. Set a personalisation

    2. Modify any text in the same frame as the personalisation

    3. Save changes
