Can any one tell what is Rec Version in Table Level.
when I entry any records into table for the first time it is "1" after that if i change any modifications it will change to any random number of 10 digits.
what is the use of this one.

Hi Sai,
RecVersion is used to maintain the record versions in database. It is managed by kernel and the default value in this field is 1 at the time when a record is created in a table. Once the record is updated , the value in this field also gets updated to a random number.
This field is used to detect the update conflicts by Kernel. It checks the value of the recVersion system field on the table at the time the record is selected for update. This value is matched to the value of the field when the record is subsequently updated. This is also used by system to detect update conflicts when updating data using AIF.
