Hi Guys,

Some of my users have started to see a new error when they try to qualify a lead to an opportunity.

I have seen this error before and these users didnt have this error appear before either, or not to my knowledge.

This is what they are seeing:

    Hi,

It seems they are missing permission on some entity, I will suggest you to look for the browser logs, you can click F12 and under the developer tools you can check on the  console tab, you may be more entity specific details there or you can try to use fiddler to get more details.

    Hello Jason,

When qualifying the lead, user does not only need Lead entity Permission but also it requires some Contact and Account entity permissions.

When user does not have minimal Privilege's then Qualify Functionality will not work for the user.

Please refer Below Article, Where it is mentioned about the Lead Visibility and what minimum Privilege's user need for qualify a lead.

    Thank You,

    Hi Amit,

This is an interesting one. So it turns out to be related to the SharePoint document location.

This is a feature that I turned on recently, however, I removed the Document Location element from the roles so i could continue with my testing, etc. The entities I turned this on for were Accounts, Opportunities, Quotes, and a few others.

So when it came to qualifying the lead, an error appeared as the user did not have the access to the document location that would be available within the Opportunity entity.

Ive turned this on now again on the various roles and it seems to be working, will continue testing though.

    Thanks for the input.

    Regards

    Jason
