Hello,

I am facing problem in AX 7 RTW VM when I am trying to register new Admin by using provisioning tool. It is giving me error related to SQL Server because its service is not getting start and event error the error is "SQL Server Evaluation period has expired."

Hi,

as you described, there is only a SQL server evaluation license installed on the vm which timed out. You have to install a valid SQL server licensed edition

Hi Pooja,

Even i'm also facing the same issue, Did you get any solution for your problem?

I have done the Edition upgrade but its not working.

Hi Pooja !

I also faced this issue 3 days ago, i also upgraded it but it didn't solve my problem. So what i simply did is, I set my VM's time to 1st july 2016, and then i manually restarted SQL services and the services started, then again i set the time and date to latest time and it is working fine for me till now :)

(If you reboot your VM then you will have to perform this trick again)

Hello All,

The problem is resolved. I have downloaded the updated machine from Microsoft's Download Center in Partner Source site. In download area there 2 updated VMs are available, so I have downloaded the file which is updated on Aug 2016. You can use below URL for machine downloading.
