Check Alignment Problem

Posted on by 5

My company is using Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015.  We're having a problem where all of our checks are aligned too high when printing.  I need to shift all of the text down a bit.  I'm trying to find a way to do this within Dynamics GP, but I'm not finding a way.  I accidentally found the option to "modify" the check when I was printing a check one time.  However now that I'm not needing to print a check anymore, I can't find a way to "modify" the alignment now that I'm not trying to print a check.

Also, when I modified the alignment within the Great Plains, and I told it to save the changes, and then printed, nothing changed.  So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or where to go from here.

    RE: Check Alignment Problem

    Hello KFCommunitas,

When you modify a report, you need to go and assign security to the modified version. The article below provides information on how to do this.

    learn.microsoft.com/.../give-access-a-modified-form-report

Give that a try for the report you modified and see if it then prints the modified report. If it is still off, you can continue to adjust the layout so it prints as you would like.

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you!
