Dataverse search not working in newly created custom model-driven app

We have created a new custom app. Dataverse search is working for existing apps, but the same search is not working in this new app.
Since there are no any configurations on the app itself we are not sure what can be the cause.

We have found the cause.

The table was not added to this model-driven app.

When we added the table the search started to work.
