hi,
I want to populate item unit price on sales line grid when adding item against sales order. from trade agreement journal but in trade agreement journal i added two custom fields /sales area/ and /delivery terms/ which i want to effect the outcome of populating the unit price on sales Line e.g like site, warehouse.

Now i will add those two fields here in address. so by this we can set sales area /for every address/.

Now i want when i uses this customer in sales table and specify the address the system should match sales area which set on address of a customer. with trade journal sales area and get that amount and populated that amount in sales line unit price field.

Now can you guide me where the system functionalities is defined that auto-populate item unit price from trade agreement journal according to site and warehouse on sales line grid. so i can coc that code and my two custom fields also.

So Now i to know where should i write the code for my two custom fields /sales area/ and /delivery terms/.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Munib,

From the trade agreement journal, the details will be posted to the trade agreements. The trade agreements table (PriceDiscTable) will not allow for duplicate records based on a combination of fields. You can't change or extend an existing index. I do expect that with this scenario your fields would need to be part of an index not allowing duplicates.

Changing the behavior of the price search would be also cumbersome due to the existing logic. Have you considered translating the Sales area and delivery terms to individual customer groups? The customer (price) groups can be used when setting up trade agreements.

    Hy,
may  be you can describe the detailled business requirement to find a best practice solution. For me this desired customization looks like not very compatibel to the D365FO core price findings.

    Hi Munib,

I'm not sure if the new pricing service has specific classes. Until the previous version, the price calculation was done in the class PriceDisc.
