I am using Fabrikam and everything works fine except

When I install/Add Project Accounting to my exisiting installation of GP2010 , I get the ERROR of " Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 10.0 [SQL Server] invalid object name 'PA10500'

If I hit OK, then it says The store Procedure smCleanupFilesBeforeLogin returned the following results: DBMS,Microsoft GP: 0.

then if I hit OK , it says

Your login failed because of database error. contact your system adminitrator for assistance

If remove Project Accounting, everything is fine and I can log back, with no issues

    Hi,

When you add a new module to GP, some objects may not be granted the proper permission in the SQL server... Which user did you use to install the PA module / dictionnaries ? What SP are you running in GP 2010 ? Check with your SQL management studio that the table has granted access to the role DYNGRP... otherwise you'll have to run down the Grant.sql script from Microsoft to grant proper access to DYNGRP after an update (may sometimes be required). See KB878449.

Thanks for your reply. I ran the installation as Admin and then logged into GP as 'Run as Admin' and also first ran the GP Utilities. The verion is GP 2010 v.1359 .

I will follow your advice and before logging into GP will run Grant and check to see DYNGRP as well and see how it goes.

Once again thanks for the feedback

If you have never used Project Accounting let me know and I can write up some scripts to reinstall the module.

    Hello,

    I have similar problem.

I was set up a database on a system which has Microsoft dynamic GP us version installed on it. But I restore the dataset on another system that has South Africa version installed.

I want to make use of the Bank Management but it was giving me an error ' a get/change operation on table 'cb_bank_trans_Record cannot find table' [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Invalid object name 'WACHQ.dbo.CB200006'.

Please how can I resolve this matter.

    Thank you

You shouldn't be restoring databases from one environment into another as the account framework could be different and the modules would be different between the two environments as well. The issue here for you is that the CB200006 table is missing which is part of Bank Management module. You could recreate this table but chances are it is not the only table that is missing.

To recreate the table you would want to use SQL Maintenance in Dynamics GP.
