Merge customer and vendor transactions

Is there a way to merge customer and vendor transactions in Dynamics AX.  I have a customer that is also a vendor.  We owe the vendor $100 and the customer owes the company $120.  Since this is actually the same entity I would like for these amounts to be netted in the payment proposal area of the vendor payment journal.  Any ideas on how these transactions can be settled in Dynamics AX?

Thanks!

It seems that a proper accounting way would be to issue $100 credit memo for the customer and $100 credit memo for the vendor. That will leave a $20 balance with the customer. Hope that helps.

There is a function called reimbursement in AX which can be used for this.
