getting the error of the user setup does not exist. Identifiaction fields and values. user id=" when trying to send a PO for approval

Are you configure 'Approval User Setup'? You need to configure this if you want to use approval. This is 'User Setup' table.

Hi IANW,

go to-

Administration->Application Setup-> Users->User Setup

put your ID and then complete necessary setup for approval

your problem will be solved.

I have the same error message but the UserID does exist in User Set up. This error appears in approvals. Could this refer to a UserID that has previously had involvelment in the order but is not longer enabled?

May be..

If it is due to old user, just reopen the order and restore it with new user.
