How to add a additional letter when emailing the Customer account statement using ER

Please help
We have a customer that would like us to attach an additional letter to the Customer Account Statement when emailing to their customers.  The additional letter is just a End of year letter and will be exactly the same for all customers.
Our Customer Account statements are ER reports.
Can someone please advise in which direction we should go to be able to do this.

    I think its possible in ER. Havent implemented it myself, however, this blog seems promissing
     
     
     
    Alternative ideas:
     
    • attach the content of the end of year letter in your ER template. Not sure if the customer will accept it as it wont be an attachment but it would extend the customer account statement with the end of year letter.
    • Use Power automate (PA) as a solution. Instead of emailing to the customer, email it to a service user including the customer email address. In PA, use a business event to trigger the event when such an email arrives. PA would pick up the attachment (Customer account statement), add the End of year letter and then send it to the customer - not my favorite solution tbh, but its an idea.
