System Jobs Error

"System Jobs Error: The selected system job could not be resumed. The status of this system job may have changed. Refresh the systems jobs to see if resuming still applies."

Hello, does anyone know what would cause the above error when opening a Duplicate detection job?

    Did you look in Settings>System Jobs to see what it said there?

    Just a guess:

    Was someone in the process of editing your duplicate detection parameters?

    "No System Job records are available in this view."

    I don't think anyone else was editing at the time.

    I'm not sure, but I don't have full admin access.

    Maybe see if you can get your Systems Admin to take a look at the System Jobs page.

    Bulk Detect Duplicate Limit Exceeded. The Bulk Duplicate Detection job cannot detect more than 5000 duplicates. Please review your duplicate rules or resolve existing duplicates and rerun the job

    OK - you need to look at/change your duplication rules - the data you entered managed to find more than 5000 potential duplicates and so the job fell over...

    I would suggest that you change your duplicate detection rules, or maybe add a date range, so that you can run it in batches.
