Cashbook damaged check

Hi guys,

I have this issue:

pastedimage1603378920040v1.png

The user is trying to select a check that has no check number...

I just asked him to recreate so we can just clean up later the duplicate which looks like a damaged payment.

This is on the CBM batches entry window...

How do we safely clean this up?

I am not that familiar with the CBM tables.

I appreciate all your help...

Thanks!

    Hello Leng,

If you haven't already I would recommend reviewing the CBM Check Header table to see if there are any empty Check Number values in the table that would account for the display:

    select * from CB770002 were CHEKNMBR='' -- Check Header

My assumption is you will not be able to process further if you do use SQL to 'plug in' a value as it won't match any other tables containing this field if not exact, but it may be worth a shot if you know what the exact value would be.

More likely, you will want to use SQL to remove the line if the SQL scripting brings result as to not cause continued confusion leaving the orphaned record intact.

    Best Regards,
