Hi experts,

There's a function in D365 to Use Word templates to create standardized documents. I'm wondering can we create standardized documents on O365?

I know D365 can export data to Excel Online, but don't see the same function for Template.

Ii will be attractive for our customer to see the integration.

Hi WanChung,

I an not much clear about your requirement 'create standardized documents on O365'. Could you share more details as you could already generate ,customize& download standardized documents.

You could download Excel template to export related entity record at the same time.

In addition , there're many other benefit after the D365& O365 Integration like SSS by exchange online, App for outlook enabled for outlook ATK synchronous and SharePoint& OneNote docs reference.

Yes, I'm aware of the capability to generate, customize& download standardized documents on Word and Excel.

What I want to know is whether we can do the same thing on Word Online or Excel Online (O365)?

The user experience will be richer if the users can manage their templates online instead of manually upload them.

Hi WanChung,

Thanks for your following up. I just did the Demo in my word online and cannot found the D365 integration data record when I open the template.

I also could not find any info by opening D365 records from Excel Online template. I think you could confirm it in D365 Community.
