Denying Access to DimensonAttributeValueSet Still Allows Update to 1 of 7 Default Financial Dimensions on the Customer Form.

    Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post.
     
    I will look closer at you blog (I did see this recently).
     
    DimensionEntryControlLine_DECMainGroup is the control on the Customer form from what I see from the front end (but I can't find this in Security Configuration).
     
    I did try your idea using TABFinancialDimension (I even tried denying access to all) and still able to update the the first Fin Dim.
     
    Greying out the Default DIM area would be preferable.
     
    Unfortunately, I inherited the set up.  I'm only making "1 off" changes at the moment

    Hi Paul,
     
    What is the exact requirement? Do you want to hide the dimensions or make them read-only? In that case, you should not override the table permissions, but change permissions on the TabFinancialDimensions form control.
