Number sequence does not exist

Hi All,

I am getting the error number sequence does not exist while posting the Sales order.

I checked everywhere all the number sequence are setup.

I have followed the previous posts as well but still error persists.

I tried to debug the same but not able to find that which number sequence is missing which is causing the error.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Somesh Dubey,

what do you understand by "posting the sales order". Do you mean the sales order confirmation? May you send attach a screenshot of your error msg.

Hi Somesh,

If you don't have any additional information, you can try luck with a breakpoint at NumberSequenceReference.FindReference method to check what kind of number sequences are used at all in the process.

Hi Somesh,

In the case, you need to go deeper to NumberSeq class and put breakpoints to newGetNumFromId, newGetVoucherFromId, newReserveNumFromId and newReserveVoucherFromId.

Is this sorted out?

Can you please check if the sequence is related to SO creation / SO confirmation / SO delivery note or during SO invoice posting you are getting this?

Please re-check the number sequence if anything left as Blank in the parameter form.

Also check in the number sequence; if this is assigned to the correct 'Company' where you are trying to process the SO.
