Unable to Delete an Analysis Services Project from AOT

Hello, This is about Dynamics AX 2012 R2.

I followed the instructions to create a cube using a Perspective and then creating an Analysis Services Project using the AOT and the Analysis Services Project Wizard.

The steps I followed were here: technet.microsoft.com/.../cc622026.aspx

After I realized that I needed to change some settings to publish the project to a different database I deleted the SSAS databases that I created with the project from SSAS.

I went back to the AOT and deleted the View and the Perspective and then tried to delete the Visual Studio Project>Analysis Services Project >"Dynamics AX"

I can't delete it. I've tried checking it out and in and deleting but, the object will not delete.

I also tried using the wizard again but there is no delete option.

Maybe it's something obvious and I just don't see it.

I think can over write the AOT with production to fix this but, I'm hoping that's not the fix.

I think that this is the SYS layer project. I also named my project the same name using the wizard. My USR layer project is gone.

You are right. It is part of Foundation and you will only be able to delete any over layered copies, but not the one in SYS.
