Hi,

I want to have the following sentence "We want you to love your purchase" to get translated in French when the report is running in French version. To show "Nous voulons vous faire aimer votre achat"

Whereas if the report is running in English show the English version.

Will I have to create a label or how am I suppose to do this?

Yes, label is the right way. That's exactly what allow field titles to change if you switch report language.

You have to create a label in Dynamics AX. Do you know what AX labels are and how to use them?

Then refer to the label in your report using an expression, e.g. =Labels!@ABC12345. Just look at any existing report to see a plenty of examples.

    Ievgen,

I got for the text labels you have the labels available in the ssrs report as per the document.

Just not understanding how to do for a sentence. Created the label in the placeholder but it is not getting converted to French.

    Javier,

I have a text in English "We want you to love your purchase" and I want to show in French statement.

So I used a placeholder as the below image, but still I am not getting the converted French language. Am I missing something?

Your picture shows a hard-coded English text; there is no magic that would translate it for you.

You have to create a label in AX, provide the translation there and refer to the label ID in your report. I already gave you an example above (=Labels!@ABC12345).

Do you understand the concept of labels in Dynamics AX?

I see that you're trying to use AX label ID in SSRS label property, but that's not correct. You must use the expression such as =Labels!@ABC12345 as the value.

Open any report in AX to see a plenty of examples.

    Martin,

For the existing labels from AX example, item id, product name I am taking the labels from AX itself and using the example as you mentioned i.e. =Labels!@ABC1234

All I am not understanding is the steps for placeholder for the custom statement that I am looking for.

English words like Thank you, how to add a label for it and show in the report? like Placeholder but how?
