Changing Item Price

Hello experts,

We are trying to change the item price on a few items in our system (AX 2012 R3 CU10). When we follow the normal procedure that we have used in the past (Product Information Management > Released Products > Manage cost > Item Price > New > Save > Active) we encounter an error. The error reads: "A critical error has occurred in function InventStdCostAdjust.adjustStdCostFinancial."

Is it because there are transaction against this item? We have tried to do it with an item that has all closed transactions and adjusted all the on-hand qty out but we still get the same error. Are we simply doing something incorrectly?

Any information would be helpful!

    Hello Jeff,

    I do not think that you are doing something incorrectly.

    Can you replicate the issue in a demo/test environment?

    In any case I would suggest that you get a developer and/or the MS support involved here.

    Thanks Ludwig for confirming. I will debug through and see if I can figure out where the problem is occurring.
