eOne SmartConnect Calculated Additional Columns

Hi all

I need some coding help

I have found an AP integration MAP and edited accordingly 

now I'm stuck a little bit below is the preview of the MAP

as you can see the MAP generated Purchase Amount, Tax Amount and Creditors Amount but when I upload it the whole of column F8 for Purchase Amount gets uploaded which isn't right and same for Tax amount 

I'm thinking to over come this is to create 2 calculated additional columns but I’m not great at coding

Those two columns to say “Sum F10 where Linetype column = 3-tax” this way it will only sum the Tax
Second column to say “Sum F8 where Linetype column = 1-exp”

much appreciate it if someone can help me with those 2 columns

    Thanks Mickie the grouping works fine, I had to redo the map and create an additional Field in the actual MAP instead of using calculated columns where it only picks Purchase Amount and another Field where it only pick Tax Amount.

    Hi Nihad,

    eOne Solutions has some VB code samples that we used to be able to download from their site in the old days.. not sure if it's still available, as they have revamped their web site recently and everything changed location..  Send me a PM if you can't find it, I might have a ZIP file somewhere with the code samples for Smartconnect.

    Hi Nihad -

    Is there a field you can use to group the data (e.g., by document number), by using the 'Group data' checkbox on the 'Create payables transaction' header and selecting that field for 'Group On'? I'm not seeing one in your screenshot, but wanted to check if that is an option for you first, because this should allow your Purchase Amount in F8 and Tax Amount in F10 to be imported correctly.

    Apparently I need someone with VB.Net knowledge to help me on this

    so far I have tried this

    Hi Nihad,

    While we in GP Support would like nothing more than to provide some guidance on this, we really can't since we don't have access to this product. I'm hoping others with SmartConnect experience will be able to give you some pointers!
