Dear Team,

I am experiencing the error "Function InventTrans.inventMovement has been used incorrectly." when posting inventory and during retail statement calculation process

I am getting this error for a specific transaction alone

Kindly help, if you have any solution

Hi Sudeep,

Related to manufacturing there were some hotfixes for the same error. You are using retail statements. Can you verify if the data in the statement tables are correctly filled? Do you have some customizations in this area? Can you tell if there was an attempt for data repair?

If all lines except one is posting, it might be related to the way data is filled in the tables. If you can't find anything it would be an option to create an incident for Microsoft Support.

Dear Andre,

There is no customization in this area. As you have highlighted, the issue is specific to a single line in the whole transaction group/statement

Can this be resolved by clearing any Temp data?

My finding is this problem related to Lot Id. and I found in number of instances and resolve by generate the Lot Id to match and some overlap id manualy change.
