Hi all,
we are facing some issue implementing failover for MSMQ with Dynamics AX 2012 R3 in a production environment. Actually we have two dedicated AOS istances for integration.
We know Dynamics AX by design needs to have MSMQ installed on the same AOS server that handle the queue instead failover cluster uses a virtual hostname/ IP address to redirect the message to the active node.
Virtual hostname and AOS hostname are different and this create issue to Dynamics AX processing the queue messages in case the main node fails.
It seems it is not possible configure MSMQ failover due to this restriction but I hope there is nother way to manage MSQM failover between AOS servers.
I already checked this link https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh397322.aspx but it is a kind of general information, it was not so much usefull for me.
Have you ever run into this issue? Do you have any suggestion?
