Could you please suggest for issue regarding enum lookup in Enterprise portal

I need to keep requisitionpurpose field from purchreqtable which is enum into one of the webcontrol but when i add it as axboundfield it displays as textbox field but not as combobox, could you please suggest do i need to add any properties at design level
