NAS lost connection to SQL when switching between windows server clusters

Hello,

I have faced a problem with NAS loosing its connection to SQL database when switching between Windows Server clusters or simply Server restart by the server administrator. However NAS service is working, all the jobs in NAV are ready to do their job (they are not stopped; no errors neither). After such restart/switching I only have to restart NAS service and everything is ok, but sometimes I am not avaialable to perform such task and all the jobs are not running. Have anyone faced such problem? Is there any solution to it?

    You need to restart NAS service when SQL server is restarting. If this is a frequent problem for you, you can think of automation of restart of NAS service, e.g.: dynamicsuser.net/.../automatic-restart-of-nas

    Yeah, I've been thinking also about writing something for myself in order restart/check connection of NAS service or any external software like this ServiceKeeper, although I wanted to ask whether Microsoft is planning to do sth with it? Is there any information regarding this topic?
