Track form fields to Data fields

New to Nav, and responsible for Reporting...   How can I track form fields to Data fields, i.e. Table and column???

    Hi,

    You need to navigate to 'About this page' from your NAV form. You will get details of the page and the source table used with all the table fields. I have attached screenshots for your reference.

    Then you have to select your dataitem in your report for eg. Item and add the fields that you require from the field menu.

    Hi,

    I have split the thread. Always post new question in a new thread. It will help you to get answers much faster.

    Answer : Dynamics NAV does not have a document which include which data stored in which table like wise. Therefore you do not have a direct way of getting info. If you can mention type of data you are after then we will be able to help you on that or you can talk to your NAV partner about this.

    Other option is if you check on  "About this Page" in the Help of each page you will notice the source table and fields. That is a good place to start.  For reports please refer below URL
