Intercompany Customer Wise Margin For Item

Hi All

Our client is doing business in multiple countries. The requirement is to specify the margin for item. This margin varies from customer to customer. 

For example

UAE legal entity will sale laptop to KSA legal entity. I created sales order in UAE legal entity for KSA Customer and system automatically created the purchase order in KSA legal entity.  

The cost of item Laptop is 1000 USD

Now margin for Intercompany customer KSA = 10%

Marwgin for Intercompany customer QTR= 20%

Bottom line requirement is my margin for the item(laptop) varies from customer to customer that is 10% for KSA and 20% for QTR.

I used automatic charges in Accounts receivable module but the issue is system is not allowing me to define the automatic charges charge code (here I can't debit the item) system is throwing an error "CHARGES ON ITEM CANNOT BE USED)

What is the best way in AX to define the margin for item with respect to customer.

    Hello Ali Danish,

    Why do you want to debit the item when defining your automatic charge code? Isn't the item leaving your inventory? If so, your customer should be debited and a ledger account credited.

    Just curiosity to know that do not we have the option to define the different sales prices based on the different customers ( intercompany LE's) ?

    @ Ludwig , Can you explain what do you mean by debit item ?

    I did not understand that why do you suggest debit item as normally we need to post these misc charges ( even margin )  to different account ?
